Povljana is
a village and harbour on the south-western coast of the island of
Pag, 14 km south of the town of Pag. The rich fresh water springs
enable intense farming (vegetable growing and viniculture). In the
area around Velo Blato and Malo Blato herons, wild ducks,
partridges and pheasants are found. The beach is protected from
the bora and the sirocco. Situated on the local road which is
connected with the main road running through the island. |
