Porat
is
a town and small port on the western coast of the island of Krk.
Chief occupations include farming and fishing.The town has
numerous nice rest homes. As Porat is a fishermen's village,
situated on the coast, there are several fine restaurants in the
small port, offering fish and other domestic products (vegetables,
wine). Cultural and sports events as well as entertainment
programs can be found in nearby Malinska. |
